Teen Driving

Wouldn’t it be great if driving skills were genetic? You know, if Mom and Dad are good drivers, so too are the kids. But that’s not the case. For sure, your kids do absorb a lot about driving from their parents as they grow up, but the bottom line is this: teens have to be taught, then practice, behind-the-wheel skills.

That’s one of the big reasons why the Drivers Club stages Family Days on the autocross. Beside the fact that it’s a hell of a lot of fun spending a Club Day with your teens, our instructors coach your kids all the correct vehicle dynamics skills to help them be the safest, most aware drivers they can be.

We do it in Club cars, so you don’t have to worry about the tires and gearbox on your sports car(s)!

Karting

Not every Club Member wants to race cars on a race track.

But we can’t think of any Member who wouldn’t enjoy racing karts at one of the best indoor karting facilities in the Northeast.  That’s why the Lime Rock Drivers Club organizes karting competitions at Grand Prix New York, in Mt. Kisco. It’s great fun, good food and terrific competition.   We bring that competition right back to Lime Rock Park for our family events.   Bring the kids, bring the spouse, and have some fun.
