The Northeast's Fastest Day Trip Ever…right in your back yard.

Why go through the expense and hassle of traveling to far-flung destinations, when the excitement is close by at Lime Rock Park all summer long?
Each and every race weekend at Lime Rock Park is its own weekend adventure all within an easy cruise through the hills. With a short, gorgeous drive, you can escape to one of the prettiest settings in the country, which also happens to play host to nearly every kind of road racing available. And you'll be home in time for dinner.
MAY - The long tradition of sports car racing will continue with the return of the Grand-Am KONI Sports Car Challenge staging two separate races once again with some of the biggest fields in racing. Open-wheel fans will get warmed up with the F2000 Series. What's F2000? Think of it as a Formula Ford, but with the A-Rod treatment. That is, more power, wings, more tire, and a whole lot more speed.
The big newcomer to the Memorial Day weekend party is Historic Formula One.
Lime Rock Park provides a glimpse into the history of F1 when the Historic Grand Prix takes to the track. Like a 150 mph slingshot, these authentic Vintage Formula One racing cars from 1966-1983 will be the first ever all-F1 race held at Lime Rock Park.
JULY - Lime Rock Park will once again host the best sports car racing in the world as the American Le Mans Series returns for Round 5 of their 2009 championship. The ALMS machines are widely acclaimed for their amazing technology and green initiatives, but last year proved that these guys also put on an amazing show. Anyone who was there last year can attest that the race was an absolute blockbuster as Danbury-based Patron Highcroft Racing upset the field as they claimed their first overall victory for Acura. Can they do it again this year as they step up to P1? And a big welcome back to BMW as they enter the GT2 class with Rahal Letterman Racing.
The ALMS stars will be using the Optional Course, which includes the additional Uphill corner and the additional West Bend corner – both with spectacular viewing areas for the fans!
AUGUST- You've been reading about this kid Joey Logano, "Boy Wonder", in Sprint Cup…curious where he came from? That's right, here in Connecticut. Logano is from Middletown, CT and has raced at Lime Rock Park. If you want to get your chance to bump into the Next Big Thing, then the Mohegan Sun 200 is your race. The NASCAR Camping World Series is the second stage, one where future stars look to impress guys with last names like Gibbs and Ganassi. And just because it's not the top of the NASCAR ladder doesn't mean that the racing isn't any good. In fact, it's better, as these guys are racing for their own futures!
SEPTEMBER – There is nothing like the perfect late-summer afternoons at Lime Rock Park and with a breath-taking collection of cars taking to the track, there's no better way to spend Labor Day weekend then at the Lime Rock Park Vintage Festival. Discover the glamour, glory and style of historic and vintage sports cars as they claim focus of the event both on track, in the fan-friendly paddock and during the prestigious Sunday in the Park Automotive Extravaganza car show.
And with a different weekend format, enduros and sprints, this year's Vintage Festival will feature more races than ever in the event's 26-year history.
REMEMBER: No bleachers and all hillside seating. The kids can still look forward to the Big Y Kids Club while parents enjoy a cold Harpoon beer. BMW will be back as the official car, and un-officially "the coolest pace car ever." The Outfield vs. Infield viewing argument will live on and hospitality guests will feel like they had the best seat in the house.
Don't miss out on the 2009 racing season at Lime Rock Park!
